Bridal shower location

Hey everyone, I am throwing the bridal shower for my cousin and I am really
STUGGLING to find a place to hold it at since I do not have a house. It is
going to be a late afternoon shower and I want it to be elegant but also
not too expensive since I am on a budget myself. If you have any
suggestions for location within the inland empire. Please, please let me
know!!!

Hey Kendra! I, too, am throwing a bridal shower - for my best friend Adriana! We're having it at my mom's house. Do you have a family member (hers or yours) that you can have it at? I had one of my baby showers at a restaurant called The Whole Enchilada. They set aside one of their rooms for us and arranged a bunch of tables together. You can still do games, gifts, and cake plus everyone can order a meal or appetizer if they want. (That saves you the cost of having to provide food/refreshments.) Or what about a local park? Late afternoon means it wouldn't be too hot (hopefully) and being outdoors means you could get really creative with games (depending on the crowd though, I guess). Water balloons...scavenger hunt...leap frog... bobbing for apples... I don't know! :) You could even make it really casual and have a BBQ/potluck. Hey! You can have the guests bring a side/salad/dessert that they love AND they could bring the recipe on a card for the bride-to-be! All you'd have to provide is the main dish (burgers, chicken, weenies) and some drinks. Hmmm... I think I like the outdoor idea. Email me if you need more help or want to "brainstorm" some more. Maybe we can share ideas... :)
